Eddie Doyle has been a PGA Professional for the last 22 Years. He started out as an Assistant in Carlow Golf Club where he made a name for himself as one of the country's leading young players back in the mid and late eighties. During this period Eddie won numerous Pro-am's and other Irish Region events.
Eddie has played in 4 Irish Open's, three in Portmarnock and one in Druids Glen in 1996. He also played the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth which is the flagship event on the European Tour.
Eddie then moved to The Heath Golf Club and spent 12 very enjoyable years as the Head Professional there. It was there that he met Tommy Keane, the man who developed and owns The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort. Doyle was to play a substantial role from the conception of the resort and The Seve Ballesteros Golf School to the completion of the 5 Star project.
Over the past 15 years Eddie has been a Leinster GUI coach and been in the envious position of having worked with and gained extensive knowledge from some of the best international players and coaches including Seve Ballesteros, Keith Williams (European Tour Coach), Luther Blackrock (Inventor of Explanar Training System) and other European Tour Players associated with The Seve Trophy and The Heritage International Challenge.
Eamonn O' Flanagan is a native of Donegal and has been a PGA Professional for the last 10years. He moved to Laois in 1998 to work for Eddie Doyle at The Heath Golf Club. Eamonn spent 4 ½ years as PGA assistant to Eddie, qualifying in 2002 as No.1 in Ireland & No.8 overall in his final PGA exams from over 250 assistants.
Before qualifying Eamonn was asked to join The Heritage team as Teaching Professional and research and develop the teaching structures and facilities for The Seve Ballesteros " Natural" Golf School . As Teaching Professional Eamonn has had opportunities to work with and learn from many of the worlds top coaches, having attended PGA seminars delivered by:

Eamonn is also currently a provincial coach to the Leinster Branch of The GUI. This role involves coaching juniors and developing talents to help achieve representative level golf.
Eamonn coaches players of all levels from juniors, beginners, Ladies, provincial/international amateurs & fellow professionals. He has been coaching Brian Keenan ( The Heath G.C) for the last 4/5 years and during this time Brian has won Munster U-21 youths C'ship , and played for 3 seasons on the Irish Boys team.
He also works with Daniel Murphy (Portarlington G.C) Irish U-16 Boys team, and Patrice Delaney (Birr G.C) Irish U-18 Girls team.
